Leiria International School: At the centre of growth

Launching a new international school in Leiria required more than a name; it needed a brand identity that resonated with teachers, parents, and students of all ages. The brand had to be flexible yet cohesive, reflecting both academic excellence and personal growth. We developed the name Leiria International School (LIS) and the concept LISconnects, inspired by the Lis River—a metaphor for knowledge guiding students toward a sea of opportunities.

Beyond academics, we emphasized a broader vision: from the center of Portugal to the world, reinforcing global ambition; from the inner center of each student, fostering personal growth; and students as the center of the institution, building an education focused on their development. 

This concept of ‘the center’ became the foundation of the brand’s visual and verbal identity.

To bring this vision to life, we created a cohesive identity, designed communication materials, and developed branding elements within the school. A website was launched to serve as a hub for information and community engagement, strengthening the school’s presence locally and internationally.

With a clear brand and strong positioning, the school successfully launched, attracting top teachers and a diverse student body. LIS now stands as a center for academic excellence and the formation of engaged global citizens.
