Colégio Príncipes de Aviz: A Legacy of Learning, Reimagined
Founded 50 years ago in Cascais, Colégio Príncipes de Aviz has continuously evolved while staying true to its distinctive educational philosophy—one centered on individuality, small class sizes, and a deeply nurturing environment.
With new ownership came the opportunity to refresh the school’s brand, ensuring it reflected these core values while embracing the future.
Through in-depth interviews with staff and teachers, we uncovered what truly sets Colégio Príncipes de Aviz apart: a passionate community dedicated to expanding each student’s world. At its heart lies the belief that by broadening our knowledge, we cultivate empathy, curiosity, and a greater respect for others.
This insight became the foundation for the school’s new brand concept: “The World in Me.” More than just a tagline, it embodies the idea that learning is an ever-expanding journey—one that thrives in a familiar, supportive, and inspiring environment.

To bring this vision to life, we designed a new logo that distills these ideas into a single, meaningful icon. Its abstract form draws inspiration from the school building, children’s toys, human figures, and open doors—symbols of discovery and possibility. This primary icon is complemented by a series of smaller symbols, which, when combined, create increasingly larger worlds—a visual metaphor for the school’s role in fostering growth, imagination, and interconnected learning.
